Guides and How-tos
Task-oriented walkthroughs for common DevJock jobs, from building an assistant to wiring up external tools.
These guides are start-to-finish walkthroughs for specific jobs. Each one assumes you have an account and a workspace, and each ends with something running that you can point at. If you are new to the platform, read the Quickstart first, then come back here to go deeper.
What is here
Pick the guide that matches what you are trying to do.
Build an assistant
Compose several agents into one deliverable with a dashboard, the way the quickstart does it.
Connect an MCP server
Register an external MCP server so your agents can call its tools.
Use the Claude Code plugin
Drive DevJock tasks, memories, and agents from a Claude Code session.
How to read a guide
Each guide moves through a single workflow in order, with the UI area or API named at every step. Where a step touches something with its own reference, the guide links out rather than repeating it, so keep the concept pages open alongside.
An agent here means one prompt plus one model. An assistant means several agents working together, usually with a dashboard. The guides use both terms precisely, so the distinction matters when you follow along.

Working within the Context Window
The context window is a finite budget, and DevJock helps agents spend it on what is relevant instead of dumping everything at once.
