My Account

Manage your personal profile and find where your account settings live in the DevJock app.

My Account is where you manage the details tied to you as an individual user, separate from any organization you belong to. You reach it from the Account area in the app, opened through your user menu.

Your profile

Your profile holds the basics that identify you across DevJock: your name, email, and the credentials you use to sign in. Keep your email current, since it is where account notifications and sign-in messages are sent. Password and authentication changes are made here as well.

Where settings live

The Account area groups personal settings in one place. Two sections sit side by side:

  • My Account for your profile, sign-in details, and personal preferences.
  • My Organizations for the organizations you belong to, where billing, members, and shared settings are managed.

If a setting affects only you, look in My Account. If it affects a team or is shared with other members, it lives under My Organizations instead.

Account versus organization

DevJock separates who you are from where you work. Your account travels with you and can belong to more than one organization. Organization-level items such as billing, seats, and shared resources are handled per organization, not on your personal profile. This split lets you keep a single login while moving between the organizations you are part of.

Interactive API references are reachable from the same user menu, alongside the Account area. Use them when you want to script account or organization actions rather than change them by hand.

Common tasks

  • Update your display name or email in My Account.
  • Change your password or sign-in method from your profile.
  • Review which organizations you belong to under My Organizations.
